Tricycle worked with the leadership of a nutrition focused nonprofit to help kick-start efforts to make evidence based decision making part of the organizational culture.
Tricycle was asked by well performing middle school in Manhattan to:
· Evaluate the implementation and early results of a classroom behavioral intervention developed in-house and administered by teachers
· Recommend how school leadership could continue to engage teachers in professional development and learning.
The organization – an East Coast nonprofit that builds the capacity of high need, low performing K-12 schools to address children’s behavioral, social-emotional and mental health needs - had a strong idea and the bones of a good model, but needed help to: i) develop it more fully as well as ii) understand both implementation of the model and outcomes from it.
This education technology B Corp launched their core product in early 2015 – an offline/online story-focused curriculum that each month explored a different biome, conservation challenge and species. The organization hired Tricycle to help them move this product out of the beta/launch stage. Their goal was to provide users with a higher quality, more engaging experience, thus increasing their usage of and interest in the curriculum.
Manna Food Center (Manna) based in Montgomery County, Maryland has a mission of ending hunger in the area through food distribution, education and advocacy; the organization works on behalf of more than 78,000 county residents who experience hunger and food insecurity. Manna engaged with Tricycle to help them implement their recently completed strategic plan.
